- As a senior (2009), was a member of the 2009 USA Today All-USA first team after tallying 15 touchdowns and more than 1,100 receiving yards, while adding eight interceptions on defense and helping the school to a 15-0 record and the California Division III championship
- As a junior (2008), posted 81 receptions for 1,378 yards with 19 touchdowns on offense, while recording 87 tackles and seven interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) on defense and returning five kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns to lead Serra to CIF Northwest Division finals
- As a sophomore (2007), had 45 receptions for 801 yards with 12 touchdowns to go along with 273 rushing yards, while notching 81 tackles and nine interceptions on defense
- Also ran track at Serra, where he won the CIF Division IV 200 and 400-meter races and was a member of the winning 1,600-meter relay team
