History: Houston Texans vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals went 8-8 in 2020 to finish third in the AFC West.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is 13-18-1 in two seasons.

The two franchises each have a pair of wins against the other in the series, as Houston beat the Cards in 2005 and 2017. In that 2017 contest, the Texans were victorious by a 31-21 margin at NRG Stadium in Week 11.

Watt is a 3-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and one of the greatest athletes to wear a uniform in the city of Houston's history. He was the Texans' first round pick in 2011 and joined the Cardinals this offseason in free agency. Hopkins was a perennial Pro Bowl receiver with the Texans, and played for Houston from 2013-2019. Texans running back David Johnson spent the first five years of his career in Arizona, and was an All-Pro in 2016 with over 2,000 rushing/receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns.
